What is a Library of Things?

Don’t buy when you can borrow! A library of things consists of non-traditional items that are available for checkout to patrons. You can find information about all of the items in our (growing) collection below; to check if something’s available, click each link to be taken to the online catalog.

DVD & Blu-Ray Player: A region-unlocked DVD/Blu-Ray player that *should* be able to play just about any disc you can throw at it! Includes remote, HDMI cable, HDMI to A/V cable, and setup/information packet.

Fender Acoustic Guitar: soft carrying case included.

Kill a Watt Electricity Usage Monitor: Consumers can monitor and project energy costs and find out what electric devices cost to operate. Displays voltage (volt), current (amp), watts (watt), kilowatt hours (KWH), frequency (Hz), volt amps (VA), power factor (PF), and elapsed time.

Portable DVD Player: Comes with its own screen – perfect for road trips! You have the option to hook it up to a TV, just like a regular DVD player. Includes remote, power/charging cord, car power cable, A/V cable for connecting to TV, earbuds, and information packet.

Projector – Epson (HDMI connection): Epson projector model VS240. Includes power cord, HDMI cable, and remote.

Projector – InFocus (VGA connection): InFocus projector model LP425Z. Includes projector, lens cover, power cord, and CableWizard Lite computer cable (VGA). 

Seed Library: The Emily Williston Memorial Seed Library (originally created in partnership with Feasthampton), offers free, public access to an ongoing supply of locally adapted, organic, and open-pollinated seeds.
