Our Teen Advisory Group is at the heart of so much of what happens in the Youth Department
Our Teen Advisory Group is a dynamic group of youth in grades 7+ who contribute creatively to the library in many ways. Members meet monthly to share ideas about programs the library could have and what we could buy for our collection. Volunteering opportunities after school include everything from shelving books, preparing program materials, and helping clubs to run smoothly. The teens are the force behind so many of our meaningful community events like our Spooky Afternoon, Arctic Adventure, and Summer Scavenger hunts! Are you or do you have a kid who might be interested in hanging out at the library more, gaining leadership and teamwork skills while engaging with peers in a casual and imaginative space? Send an email to youthdept@ewmlibrary.org to find out more.
